It started with an email from a travel company, talking about New Year breaks, and we were quite taken with a week on Lake Garda. But it was very expensive and included trips to Venice and Verona, both of which we have visited before, we thought about it then decided no. So we've been thinking about it, being more precise in what we would like, and this evening we have booked a three night break in Prague over the New Year weekend. We've always said we would visit Prague, they will have fireworks on NYE, the C-word markets will still be on, and there might be snow It is nice to have something else to look forward to when we come back from Nashville
We will be on a cruise in the Caribbean for both Christmas and New Year. Flying out on 23rd December. Spoken to several people who have been to Prague and said it was very enjoyable. Have a good trip. Do they do mulled wine? We have had a few glasses when we went to the Christmas markets in Cologne several years ago.
My friends came back from Italy at the weekend osc they went to lake carda and Verona and venice when they where there they priced a trip on a condelia can't spell It was 80€they didn't bother
I went to Prague many many years ago - back in 1993 or so; and loved it then. Apparently it's really cleaned up since and hugely improved since; definitely a place I'd like to go back to one day. Enjoy x
