Good morning. :D

Another lovely day forecast. 8-) 8-)

A swim then getting ready to meet two friends at noon for coffee and cake in the plaza. :D

Walk home to pick up my books then work 4 - 9.

When finished I'm meeting Don, Jacob, Conor, Lucia (Conor's g/f) and David (who flies off to Norway on Sunday) for a few beers and a bite to eat. :D :D :D

Good morning! It's sunny here after a wet and very windy night.

I'm just about to leave the gym and need to run into the post office on the way home. I'll walk Billy after a shower.

Sounds like a busy but lovely day Ally!

Have a good one all!

Morning Ally, Jo and everyone

Another lovely morning here - and should be another mid 30's day :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Popping into Ourique later, to get more compost for the new plants. Our soil (shale) here is rubbish, so need to give the plants a head start.

Might have to get some cat food too      We've been "adopted" by a kitten, not many months old. He/she has been around for the last few weeks and we've been trying to ignore it - I'm allergic to cats, love 'em but they really make me sneeze  - and been watching it catching grasshoppers to eat. He won't get too close, not that we've tried, but slowly, over the last few weeks, he's been getting nearer to the house. So we gave in yesterday and I cooked a scrambled egg, with milk for him and also put down a bowl of milk and water. He ran away when I put it down, but came back and wolfed it down, lay by the cypress tree, burped a few times and fell asleep

Daft of us really, but it really is skinny. We always have water out, for the wasps and birds and some nights, the bowl is empty, so we know he's been around.

Hey ho, let's see.

In the pool to cool off later and I need to sort out our suit-case for next week - it's probably buried underneath all sorts of rubbish

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all ;)

That all sounds lovely Ally :)

Have a good day Jo, it's rained here too but is hopefully looking a bit brighter now - fingers crossed :)

Morning Ton, sounds like you might have a new resident :D

No definite plans yet today, it depends on the weather I think. We could do with a few bits of food shopping - we didn't do a big shop last weekend with being so busy, so if it clears right up I think Sainsbury's is on the cards. Will ring D shortly to see how she is, so might pop up there later. Oh and E and I start pilates tonight  So it seems that plans are forming after all ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all

Have a lovely day and evening Ally, the evening in particular sounds huge fun
You've got a really active morning Jo, haven't you - I'd be dead on my feet by now
Ton, you temps sounds amazing, it's really nippy and windy here and rain expected :( can I come stay with you please? And you know me.... aaawwwwwwwww re the cat how lovely. Only thing if I may say - stop with the milk; their tummy's don't really digest the lactose all that well. Plain water is so much better ;) x
Kaz enjoy your day and esp enjoy the pilates tonight, most people I know who do it absolutely love it so hope you will as well
Saundra enjoy your day

Usual work day for me and then out for a few drinks after work. Leonie is home alone this morning and then going into Woking for some shopping later and spending the evening with Karl and Nadine. Tomorrow I have the day off; Leonie is having her nails done and then the two of us are heading into London; she's bought tickets for both of us to see Phantom of the Opera :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: how sweet is that?

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all,

Sunny here but it was raining somewhere close by this morning, we could hear the thunder.

Slow day for me today. Mrs S is at her French class and I'm back at the pc on the job hunt. This afternoon we're heading out to find flooring, tiles and a bunch of other stuff in the major DIY shops (at least 1 hour in any direction), so I can get on with the final parts I need to do. Yesterday I welded the back boiler in the old rayburn (it was moving which was why we pulled it out in the first place), it's going in the outdoor kitchen and I've made a new concrete platform for it.

Today I've finalised the storage space upgrade in my media server (10TB to 20TB) and taken all the old drives out. Before lunch I'll change the air filters on the bike (bought the wrong one's and the "conversion" I did to get me going is choking the engine), then take it out for a run.

Tomorrow and Saturday I'll fit the rayburn and complete flue pipe for it and the stove in the courtyard room.

Plenty of work to do.

Ton, we were invaded by 7 kittens left by their mother at the bottom of the garden. Mrs S decided to home them until they became such a nuisance that we finally stopped feeding them and let them wander off. Kept the mice and rat population down though whilst they were here.

Enjoy the day all.

Good morning all.

It's been raining here earlier on, but the sun is shining now.
I've just been to the doctors for my flu-jab and a coagulation check. (Everything OK).
Now I'd better start getting ready for my Golden Oldies music programme this evening. It's been 3 months
since my last presentation, and I need to remind myself how my super-technological CD player works!

Hope you all have a happy day.

Funny isn't it Kaz, you think you have no plans until you actually stop and think about it  Enjoy pilates!

Ton, it certainly sounds as if you have a new pet
