Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 02 Oct 2016, 05:14

Good morning. :D

A lovely day forecast. 8-) 8-)

I'll be picking mum and dad up and bringing them over here for the day - but first I'm making a huge cottage pie for lunch as they love it!

A swim and a coffee first though. :D

Once I've taken them back 5ish we're going to Paco's to watch the Malaga game. :D

Good luck to David who flies off to Oslo this afternoon...he's a bit nervous, bless him!

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all, it's bright here after a day if non-stop rain yesterday.

Off out up Manchester in half an hour, flippin' midday kick offs. John's coming with us and taking his bike, he's found a route around Saddleworth I think. We have to leave early as the M6 is so unpredictable and the train isn't really an option as the first station after Stafford is Stoke and that's who we're playing today so the train will be a mix of supporters which may or may not work. We're dropping Bill off with my parents first.

Have a good day all!

Morning both, morning all ;)

Ally I hope David has a great time in Norway, good luck to him :) Have a nice day with your mum and dad :)

Have a great day out Jo :D

It's sunny here and as all the prep is done for the packing, and we don't need a food shop (I went with D on Thursday) we are going out for a bite somewhere to save cooking later, and to enjoy the autumn sunshine :D Mick also wants to get new front tyres for the car before we drive to Gatwick on Tuesday ;) B is home tomorrow, she's had a nice week at her dad's :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning everyone

A little chilly first thing, but warming up nicely xx

Jo, good idea not to get that particular train ;) Good luck to your lot today :D

Grumpy out wood staining this morning, I have no idea what I'll be doing, apart from talking to the cat. She's still with us, as Gez is waiting for her cat box to be returned - a friend borrowed it a year ago  and has now been informed she needs it. Unfortunately, the friend can't remember where she put it, so we're having to keep puss until whenever. As we're away on Tuesday, for the week, Gez will come up once a day and feed the cat, if the box can't be found - or an alternative.

Have a good day everyone, enjoy xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny at the moment, the temperature has dropped considerably though. Nothing planned for today, will see how we feel if the sun stays out.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
And a beautiful one it is too! - a proper sunny, bright autumn day, yes much cooler but lovely in the sunshine, a good to be alive day :D

All's well with the world, I went to M&S to get the cardi I liked, and hit the jackpot with the most fantabulous jacket, will post link on boutique as soon as I can find it.
Handmade pork pie for lunch, with lovely tomatoes and coleslaw, and Dexter beef steaks for dinner (from the pop-up farm shop last week) - oh and cake for this afternoon as well :D
Hope you're all enjoying the day too

Afternoon all. Mrs S is sitting in bed on her Laptop so I get some time on my machine.

Warm here today, lazy day. My car is still borked and I was going to rip out the seats and carpet then take the fuel pump out of it and check the tank for muck. But Mrs S tantalised me with a "lazy day" so lazy it is. We'll amble up to one of the annual markets later on today. The main activity for today is to empty the hot tub ready for cleaning and refilling.

Have a great day all.

Afternoon all, it's a gorgeous day with blue skies and wonderful views. I went for a lovely walk earlier, Mr Osc was watching footie but he spent time out on the terrace enjoying the sunshine. Bless him, he has been trying to sort me a text tone on my new phone - Apple want you to use theirs so make it really hard to use something from your own music. I like the phone to sound like, well, a phone, but prefer a personalised text tone.

Golf again from about 5pm, quite honestly I don't think Europe can win the Ryder Cup this time around, so we might not have that late a night  Enjoy the rest of the day :)
