An early run then home to get ready to go over and see my folks.

They (mum ) want to do a spot of shopping and I'll have lunch with them.

Good morning, we have the same forecast Ally but a tad cooler Looks like we've had some quite heavy rain overnight though.

I'll walk Billy while Joe's at the gym and when he gets home I'll cut his hair (Joe, not Billy). I need to get some washing done and John needs his hair cutting too so I'll do that tonight.

Jo, it's rotten wet weather here too I'll be out in it though, got zumba in an hour then will walk up to see D. I'll take warm clothes with me, and change in the showers there afterwards - it's not the weather to be walking two miles in my zumba gear I bet I'll ache later, not done zumba for nearly three weeks

Dull and overcast.

Our stinky status is no more, we've both finally had a shower.......bliss

Peter painter's just arrived. He's got a rotten cold and should be home in bed. Much as we'll be pleased to have him finish, we're worried about catching his cold as we're due to travel up to see mother this Thursday and if either of us come down with it the visit will have to be postponed.

Really need to pop out later, there's no fruit or veggies left in the house.

Not much on today apart from making a will. Not the cheeriest subject but it has to be done I suppose. a lovely morning here, all blue sky and fluffy white clouds.

After a late night, a late start - they're still asleep so a gentle sightseeing day, although we all may jump in the pool again later, if it brightens up.

I can understand the painter, wanting to get it finished Jen, but not when he's got other people around - send him home!

Good afternoon all.

It's a lovely afternoon here, after a rather murky morning.

I've been busy all morning dismantling and getting rid of the array of additions
to our TV set-up, which are all showing their age and not performing properly,
i.e. a sound bar and hard disc storage unit. The reason is that we are getting
B.T. to provide us with a 'TV Essential' box that will give us all the channels and
storage capacity that we are ever likely to need. The man is coming to install it
tomorrow.

Another one here who appreciates a good shower - we had the loveliest shower cubicle in the bathroom on holiday, it was completely stone clad, loads of room, and great water pressure. It also had one of those extra hand-held shower heads The water was lovely and soft too, not like here!

Zumba was great, nice to get back into it
