Challenging Moments

Yesterday I was at a local Railway Preservation Society, checking tickets as passengers came to go on the Santa Special trains.
I started before 9.00 a.m and finished at 4.00 p.m. Will be doing it again next Sunday.
There were 500 passengers on each train, some of them arriving an hour before the train was due to depart.
It was very enjoyable , some of the children and parents dressed up for the special occasion.
There was a large party from Scope on one of the trains as well as other disabled children in special wheel chairs.
It was interesting to see the reaction when passengers were asked to show their tickets.
Some had them ready, but several ladies had to dig deep into their hand bags to find them.
Some had down loaded them onto their mobile phones so no paper trail for them but still valid as it showed all the relevant information.
