Good morning.

Rain is forecast but as it's dry at the moment I'll go for a quick run as soon as it's light.

We're off to Torremolinos this morning to get a few last bits from Dealz and have some lunch.

Homework club 4.30 - 6.30 and that's it! School holibobs until January 9th! :D :D

Meeting Don and the gang for our usual Friday beers and tapas..methinks jollification will be involved.

Have a great day everyone.

ETA just back from my run and the forecast has changed completely! It's lovely now!

Good morning Ally and all! Still dark here but it looks dry.

We're walking Billy first then dropping him off with my parents and going to the Black Country Living Museum. Joe's coming with us. We've got annual passes so it'll be nice to have a walk around while it's all decked out for Christmas, and we'll have fish and chips for lunch from the 1930s chippy - best chips in the world!

We'll come back via Wolverhampton and collect Tom and his suitcase! He has work tonight and John's off out for a meal with his cycling friends so it'll be just me and Joe. I've got another parcel being delivered between 6 and 10pm.

Have a good day all!

Morning, it's raining  Just about to get up and start getting ready to go to the wedding. I really dislike driving in rain so hopefully it will ease off, as we will be on the main artery out of Dublin going south, with plenty of lorries and trucks throwing up spray. Better get up!

Morning all :)

Ally, have a lovely day, your plans sound great :)

Osc, have a good weekend, and I wish the young couple many happy years together :D

Morning Jo, I really must visit that museum one day, it does sound very interesting! 8-)

Well, we've had a very early start as 'someone' might just be taking a certain type of test as I type, that might give her a licence at the end of it! No names no pack drill, as I promised not to tell anyone she was taking it this time. So shhhhhh!!!    In other news, as it's Friday I'll be going for my usual phototherapy, am about halfway through now and it has done some good! It's a big commitment really, up there three times a week, but it's definitely worth it :D Not sure what else I'm doing today yet, will see where the day takes me ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning everyone

Sunshine, clouds, wind and more rain :Hi: :Hi: to come.

Won't say a word Kaz, but keeping everything crossed

Safe journey Osc x Hope it clears up.

That sounds interesting Jo - would love some decent chips 8-)

Not sure what we'll be doing today, there's only so much we can do inside but if the rain holds off, we'll be back outside, doing something.

Also making a pork stew for Sunday.

Have a good day everyone xx

good morning and a very happy Friday to you all :)

Enjoy your last day at work Ally and definitely enjoy the jollification this evening.
Jo, enjoy the museum and hope the decorations there are fab - take some photos :D Safe driving and hope the traffic isn't too bad
Osc, safe driving to you as well - and enjoy the wedding
Kaz, how does it work during these coming Christmas days - will you still be able to fit in your phototherapy 3x or will you have to shuffle days about. Fingers and toes crossed here as well
Morning Ton :)

Usual work day for me and then heading to a friend the other side of Guildford for dinner. Just hope the traffic is OK. It's never the best run as it is going down the A3 past Guidlford, but Fridays tend to be even worse, and today is the last day of work for many so no doubt even more terrible. I'll just have to be prepared for the journey to take twice as long - sigh....

Have a lovely day all, enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Morning all,

Hope everyone enjoys their day, especially osc for the wedding and a certain other event which shan't be jinxed..

Work from home today. No travel but we do have 54 stairs in the house... Work all day plus we'll be getting anything I need for plumbing and building the utility room units.

Have a great day.

Morning :)
Another dull dreary one here...

Yaaay Ally holiday time :Hi:
Osc I do hope the weather clears a bit, it's so tiring driving in the rain, and I too hate the lorries  But hope you enjoy the wedding :)
Meriad you too, I hate driving around Guildford, it's never quiet is it?!
Not thinking of anyone in particular but good vibes for tests in general  :x
Kaz it's tedious but at least it's not every day, and fairly local x

We had a lovely meeting and lunch yesterday, my goodness their food is good, so tasty you forget how healthy it is :x
They did indulge us with h/m mince pies as well ;)
Today trying to catch up with stuff here, plus popping up to the village for a bit of posting and shopping.

And had best make sure there's something for dinner, having told Bb he could have beans on toast last night (fast day) then him discovering we had no beans, oops
So he said, would you make me an omelette - only one egg left :?
We found a tin of soup :D :x
Hope your days go well
x
