Jacob's in London for the weekend - he's going to Camden market today and then to Islington to meet some friends.

A misty start, but now the sun has burnt it off and hopefully, a lovely sunny day - and warm

I have ironing to do and a roast later. Apart from the footie, that's it.

Good morning on a pleasant day so far.
Thinking about my sister and partner.
They have been to New Zealand for 2 months to
visit her daughter and family.
They are now on their way home.
They left Auckland this morning (our time) to
fly to Dubai. The longest flight in the world evidently.
16 hours non stop.
She is 80 years old so i think she does very well.
They will get to Manchester tomorrow i think.
Trying to track it.

Good morning all.

It's dull here, and rain is forecast, so we have been a good brisk walk first thing.

Have read bits of the Sunday paper, which I must confess brought on a few swear words.
I don't know what the world is coming to. Boys who say they think they are girls, can now
join the Girl Guides. How daft can you get? Perhaps I should stop reading newspapers.

I think I'll bring my account book up-to-date now. That will quieten me down.

Think we must have had rain overnight as it's a bit damp outside today.

We've been very lazy and had an extra long lie in this morning. Listening to the radio and reading the papers sounds a good plan for us, don't think much else will be happening here.
