of bl**dy flatpacks.
put tv unit together and the drawers wont go in -why?-because the middle runner /support is out of line, not my fault ,drilled holes for dowels out of line!!!
So will have to go back for replacement.

So far we have had to return -

Ironing board-legs uneven woul'nt stand level .

Folding chair ,breaking after 3 days!

Toaster -could have done toast on the outside it was so hot!

To say we are a bit peed off is getting to be an understatement

Things should improve for you
Bit of advice never ever buy flat pack just not worth the effort
And put a bit of cardboard under the ironing board

You certainly have been unlucky, Vic.

Perhaps you need to find another place to shop.

We've had loads of Ikea flat packs and never had a problem. Joe was even putting some together on his own last Summer, having never done them before.

I agree Jo, I've had loads of stuff from Ikea and it's been perfect. Back in 1999 when a friend and I rented a flat together I bought a chest of drawers from Ikea and she bought one from Argos. I gave mine to my neighbour last year and it's still going strong - 18 years now. Anne's on the other hand was in pieces when we moved out the flat two years later.

And I still have a Billy bookcase that is in perfect condition - now 17 years old, bought when I moved into my first own flat.

I have to say if had loads of flatpacks and the problems if any have been with draws and handles
If got a lovely coffee table and nest of table in oak in the front room from Wilkinson had them a good few years
It just seems a hassle these days I'm getting old
