New world record .....

.... for an Ostrich climbing up Gold Hill! Managed it today in 3 minutes 11 seconds, shaving 14 seconds off my previous record. This new record might be challenged, though, because when I descended to the bottom before starting my ascent, I found that my starting "line", a particular patch of tarmac, had been cordoned off and was being dug up by a council workman!

But by gum, this record comes at some cost to the old thighs and calves .... I can't be doing with all this strenuous yomping, I reckon I'm going to have to leave that to Ally. :D

That, and the fact that Mrs O has started making casual enquiries as to where the life assurance policies are kept .....

Well done!

Think you'd tell me to 'do one!' Ossie if I suggested a thigh squat warm up first?   :Hi:

It's the hill from the old Hovis advert, the errand boy pushing a bike up a very steep cobbled hill :D
