Good morning. :D

Sunny and forecast 20 degrees. 8-)

Run, squat challenge and lots of coffee.

Homework club 4.30 - 6.30 then home to get the car and drive to the airport to pick up a couple of friends who are coming over for the weekend. They got flights for £14.99.

Back to our house, drop their bags and straight into town for beers and tapas. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally and all, it's dry here at the moment.

I'm off to Stafford shortly, just waiting for the college kids to fill the buses before I go and catch one. I need a birthday present for our friends' daughter, Eve, and some for Tom too - can't believe they both turn 20 next week, it really doesn't feel like 5 minutes since Ruth and I were running around Tumbletots with them!

We went to college last night to chat about Joe's progress. The tutor we spoke to started by saying that he can't speak highly enough of him. His attitude, behaviour and timekeeping are all spot on and he's at the top of the group, he said he was relieved a few weeks ago when Joe told him that he's carrying on with the course next year. I'm so pleased for Joe, that he's found something that he enjoys and is good at, he struggled at school at times and really didn't enjoy it or want to be there.

Have a lovely weekend with your friends Ally.

Have a good day all!

Morning all :)

Have a good time with your friends Ally :D

Jo that's terrific news about Joe! :D 8-) Hard to believe that Tom is turning 20 :o

Morning Vic :)

Well, we have sunshine and it looks lovely out there, but the forecast is for rain and strong winds so maybe we're in the eye of yesterday's stormy weather :? We'll see ;) Becky has a driving lesson with her new instructor this morning. She's hoping that a change might mean third time lucky for getting through her test :geek: ;)

Nothing planned today but I might walk into town to pick up some bread and fruit, then pop in to see D on the way home :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Grey and grey here, waiting for the hooley and rain later ;)

All I can say Jo is, I blame the parents ;) ;) Well done that young man x

Late start for us,m after the best night ever. Not laughed so much in ages 8-) 8-) Two very camp guys, language difficulty - try explaining to a Dutchman - who are not renowned for their sense of humour, what a doggy bag is

The food was sublime and Pieter made so much, we'll be eating it again tonight. I foolishly said I'll cook next week

Off to Ourique later, to collect Glad bags and we'll have a pit-stop at the bar too. Well, be rude not to 8-)

Enjoy your day everyone, good luck to B xx

Good morning all. Sounds like a good night Ton!

Beautiful morning here, bright and sunny. I've just dropped the car off at the garage, MrsC and her sister have not yet returned from Leeds; they went to see the Strictly tour last night.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here, hoping it lasts, yesterday it disappeared in the afternoon and we had rain.

Enjoy the weekend with your friends Ally.

Well done Joe, you must be so proud Jo :D :D

Sounds a good night Ton.

We're up late as usual, no excuse, just because we can  Need to go out to buy fruit so depending on the weather holding up we plan to walk into town in the next hour or so.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon :)
Pretty foul here, dark, wet on and off and very windy.

Well done to Joe! :)
Sounds like a brilliant night out Ton :)
Lucky Mrs Cromwell, I bet she enjoyed that :)

I've been to art this morning, hard concentration for two hours.
Shan't be doing much else apart from choosing a new book to read, until I cook dinner - pork mince chilli.

Glad bags collected :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: never have a problem up here :D

Stopped at the bar, and you know you're getting more fluent, when the Portuguese ask you to translate what the English are saying, into Portuguese 8-)

Grey and not nice, but warm
