Morning all, pretty dreary day here, very windy and intermittent rain. Just starting the general tidying up and then we are going to the cinema this afternoon to see La La Land - at this time of the year we usually try to see some of the Oscar-nominated films. Hubby was given a cinema voucher for Christmas so it won't cost anything which is always good ;) Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Didn't intend to lie in so late, only just having brekkie. No plans today, should go for a nice walk but by the time we're functional it will probably be too late

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good Morning all,
We both overslept this morning.
The weather is lovely but to spoil the day
the boiler did`nt come on.
No hot water or heat but Swale Heating have promised
to come today so we will have to stay in.

Good afternoon all.

There's been a sharp frost here, and it was a bit dodgy walking out first thing.
We've been into town for a bit of shopping and a look round a charity shop.

have a nice day.

Good afternoon all, we had a bright and frosty start but it's really clouded over now. I think rain is forecast for later. Billy got his walk in the sunshine though, and as a bonus the mud was frozen solid.

Doing housework today, and continuing to teach myself to crochet.

Osc, we were talking about La La Land last night. When we went to Pasadena (on a very hot day) I made them all walk quite a distance to see an old bridge I'd read about, the Colorado St Bridge. When we got there, eventually, Joe decided that the bridge will be forever more known the The Disappointing Bridge. I think he was expecting something like the Golden Gate - actually, I think they all were. Anyway, I saw a trailer for the movie last night and there was The Disappointing Bridge!

Have a good day all!

Afternoon :)
Hard frost first thing and a bit of very weak sunshine but clouded over here too now, rain expected.

Jo that's funny
Hope you enjoy the film Osc :)
I've been for blood test this morning, hunt the vein was no fun :(
Bb's out working then when he finishes he's collecting youngest (T) who is coming to stay for the week.
Long story but his mother's on holiday with her father; anyway, he's coming here, not sure till when, we've not been privy to much detail ;)
He's at college 3 days and Bb's taken Thursday off...
Right, best go feed the dog and myself, then I really must choose a new book to read :)

Afternoon all

Di, hunt the vein definitely doesn't sound like fun - sorry :(

Usual work day for me, with the usual quiet evening at home which I'm looking forward to. We're having a nightmare locally with the roads; basically there are two roads I could take to drive to the station, one on main roads and the other (the route I go) back country lanes. But last week a huge sink hole appeared on the main road so the've now closed it off for repairs. That, combined with major major road works going on in Woking so people can't cut through town means that so many people this morning were on the road I usually go - and dare I say most didn't know how to drive on the narrow windy roads; so many traffic jams where they shouldn't be it was mayhem.

Hope you all enjoy your respective days, shopping, meeting up with friends, pootling - have fun

xx
