Morning Saundra, exactly the same here - grey outside and we've just had tea and toast in bed

Morning all :)

We had a really nice evening up at The Oakwood, sat down to eat at 7 and were still chatting at 10 :D Today's plan is to do not much! I have a few plants to get in, but it looks like rain so am not sure.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning Saundra, Kaz and all. It's not too bad here considering we were forecast rain. I set my alarm for 6.30 on the off chance the forecast was wrong and was glad I did. We've just had a lovely long walk and avoided the weekend-only dog walkers.

John's back later this morning, he's over the Irish Sea en route to Liverpool at the moment. The fella who he works with and had travelled with lives there and he didn't want to drive down to Birmingham Airport (even though he'd have been doing the journey had it been a normal work day) so John had to go up to him. Apparently it didn't cross anyone's mind for them to travel separately and meet up there

Bit of cleaning to do once I've had a cup of mint tea :D

Kaz, that sounds like a lovely night xx

Have a good day all!

Yesterday's 31km yomp in stupid heat was tough!

I'm just back from a 7km walk...far more civilised!

It's the Old Firm game today which we'll watch then Don, Conor & myself are going to sit in the plaza, have a few beers and food. :D :D

Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone

Blowing a hooley here    so my washing might end up at the bar - shame it's shut on Sundays

A friend gave us a load of cuttings yesterday, but think we'll wait for the wind to drop from force 10 ;)

Berlimey Jo - not thought through, was it ;)

Enjoy your day, whatever the weather xx

Good Morning--a beautiful day here again (so far)
The wait at the hospital yesterday was`nt too bad .
The consultant says that my eye has`nt altered much from a year ago
so it is up to me what to do next.
He says he could operate but it is a risky op and not 100% certain.
It would not improve my vision just take away the wavy lines.
The other option is to put up with it and carry on as i am but if it
gets worse go back to him.
I have opted for the second as i don`t fancy an op that will not improve
my vision--it seems a waste of time.
On the bright side he says my other eye has absolutely perfect vision :D :D :D

Ton, would it surprise you if I told you that the woman who organises the travel is Portuguese?
