Now listen up!

I have just been watching a thing about fish 'n chips on BBC2 where they had curried batter, battered chips, sea bream and cod, whatever that is!

F 'n Cs is haddock in a water and flour batter, perhaps a bit of vinegar, deep fried in dripping and served with chunky chips, also done in dripping, and mushy peas. :D :D :D

OK, maybe not healthy, but boy are the good, so stop messing about. ;) :P

Up North Cod and chips is the norm or a choice of cod or Haddock.

I have noticed lately tho many chippies are offering more choice.

Can't beat battered chips.

Best chippy around for miles is the 1930s chip shop at the Black Country Living Museum. Cooked in beef dripping and they give you a scoop of batter bits too.
We've got an annual pass so thankfully it doesn't cost us anything to go in and get a portion of fish and chips.
