a truly marvellous trip yesterday -up the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth harbour-fantastic views and an excellent "High Tea" in both senses, courtesy of our Son & his Wife for our 50th Wedding Anniversary, and the staff comped us a bottle of Prosecco each :D

We are going on a coach holiday to Hayling Island next month, and that will include a high tea in the
Spinnaker Tower. It sounds great, and we are really looking forward to it.

Congratulations on your 50th Wedding Anniversary.

Victor,
Congratulations on 50 years. We celebrated our Ruby wedding last year. We have both been married before so we have been married for more than 50 years but not to each other.
When I was working in the 1970's our Head Office was in Portsmouth. It was in a tall office block and we had a good view over the harbour.
Never much time for sight seeing, just work. Did manage to have a drink in the Kepple's Head pub.
