The fakes I've seen pictured do not have the Big Ben hologram strip on the front left. But to all other intents and purposes ......

I dislike these new fivers they tend to stick together ugh

But I thought these were supposed to be difficult to forge?

I quite like them but they don't fold well in my purse.

Someone said this morning that they'd seen one in town, but down here in Dorset we still mainly use groats and half-lambs for currency ....

You'll be moving onto shillings before you get the new coins then.

The fivers seemed to quickly appear in circulation but I've been to Cannock, Stafford (twice) and Birmingham in the last week and haven't had a new coin from anywhere.

Once the new fivers get folded they seem to stay folded somehow.

Shopping this morning, I've been in four shops and still haven't seen a new coin.
I do need to pop to the post office this afternoon though so maybe they'll have some.
