Good morning Ally and all! It's gorgeous here!

Off to walk Billy in a few minutes. John's had to go into work to start on a design so, because he'd said he'd take his mother into Birmingham, he left here at 5.30am so he'd be in the office for 6 which would give him 5 or 6 hours to get some work done so that he would be back in time. She wasn't best pleased yesterday when she got back and John wasn't here. He was hoping to be back at around 3pm but got held up on site so it was almost 5 when he arrived home. I think she expects us to stop everything and entertain her, despite the fact she invited herself and dictated when she'd be here. I had to cut my mom's hair yesterday but hung on until MIL arrived and all I got was "Oh! You're going out?" I'd already wasted a lot of the gorgeous day sitting around the house waiting for her.

Moan over (for today)!

Have a good day all!

Good morning Ally & JoM.
It is sunny and getting warmer. Dong some shoping this morning. We can park near Iceland for free on Sunday.
Then more gardening. Lots of little weeds to get rid of. Very time consuming.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :)

Ally, we know summer is coming when you start using the pool! :Hi:

Jo your MIL sounds incredibly high maintenance! She invited herself, so should just slot in with your family routine :? (((x)))

Morning cruiser! :)

Well it's another lovely day :D Got some washing on the go, to make the most if the weather, Mick and I will pop out for the papers shortly, then home to enjoy a lazy day. No cooking, I bought a ready cooked chicken and a load of salad stuff yesterday :D

Have a good day :) xxx

Morning everyone, how lovely it is outside! Plenty of weeds here too Cruiser, I'll have to get the hoe out.

Nothing much on today apart from that and Sunday dinner.

Jo, do you have a patio..? Honestly though, I don't know how you stand it.

Change of plan about the bbq. It's going to be windy for the next couple of days, so I've taken come calde verde out of the freezer ;)

Our patio could do with extending now you mention it Cromwell...must start digging

Ton, I caught the scent of the first barbecue of the year as I walked to my Mom's yesterday afternoon. Pea picking! I'd be popping the shells and eating more than I'd be freezing though

Jen, you're in my thoughts. I hope the next few days in Wiltshire go as well as they can xx
