Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 10 Apr 2017, 05:14

Morning everyone

Still dark, but expecting a rather warm day.

Thinking of Jen today and sending loads of love and hugs xx

I have Grumpy's cold, so better off up, as my nose is constantly running and I'm feeling quite cxxp.

We have to get Heldar here today as we only noticed the other day, we have a water leak, in the kitchen. Think it''s been going for a long time, as the wall outside is coming away in places

Berlimey  The lecky just went off, but I''m back in here, no prob :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

I'll be pea picking and freezing again, ran out of energy yesterday.

Caldo verde soup for dinner - good, means no cooking ;)

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

thinking of Jen as well ((hugs))

Ton, feel better soon and take it easy today
Ally, enjoy being a lady what lunches and goes out :D sounds a perfect day really
Kaz, good luck at WW.
Saundra, I have my brother and the kids over for Easter Sunday so need to get a few bits and bobs for them as well.

Well, usual usual for me, ie work then home. Was meant to have done quite a bit in the garden over the weekend, but ended up simply just relaxing and enjoying the super weather.

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning, all. Firstly, thoughts for ((Jen)) today ....

It's sunny here, but there's a fair bit of wispy cloud up there. And it's not that warm.

First job of the day was sweeping up the moss from the front of the house, as the blackbirds amuse themselves by stripping it from the roof and hurling it at the front door.

Then to Waitrose for the daily shop and freebie Times.

Then to the bank in Shaftesbury, to get the monthly dosh out. Managed to wheedle a couple of the new £1 coins out of them; they appear totally underwhelming, really :| . Then to WH Smiths and managed to pick up a new John Connolly hardback. Didn't do Gold Hill as you really need stout walking shoes for the cobbles, and I'd got my comfy pair on today. :)

Then back to Gillingham and a visit to the hardware store; we have a hairline crack in our water butt so I was after some waterproof mastic. Found something I hope will be suitable, but it might have been cheaper to have replaced the whole butt ....

Now back home for a rest!

Good morning, it's bright here but much chillier as there's quite a cold wind.

I've had a lovely long walk with Billy, we were out for 90 minutes and walked almost 5 miles and that wasn't enough for him. Just as we were about to take the path which leads us back onto the estate he stood on the path which takes you back up to the old quarry pool (which was where we'd headed to first) and stubbornly refused to move. He wanted to go around again!

I need to pop out in a bit and get some stir fry veg for dinner tonight, and I need to pick up another Easter Egg as we have another house guest at the weekend, Tom's flat mate Shannon, and I can't have her not having an Easter Egg on Sunday morning! I'll get one today because I remember not being able to find any in the shops at the end of this week last year when I needed an extra.

Kaz, that's a shame about Thorntons. The one here closed a couple of years ago now and I miss it.

Thinking of Jen today xx

Get well soon Jan! (Ooooh get me using your proper name!!)

Have a good day all!

Can't go pea picking, just in case Heldar comes round when I'm blanching them, so I've done the ironing now going to do some weeding - fresh air will blow the cold away, I hope 8-)

t's been so busy this morning - I'm working alone tomorrow and quite frankly I am pooing my pants at the thought! We are completely full up all week, and the phone has never stopped ringing this morning so now next week is looking the same! I HATE working alone, you've no idea how stressful it is. (two full time members of staff are on holiday this week, hence the solo shift) I told boss on Saturday I was concerned about it and there could be mistakes made (you've no time to check and recheck when you're on to the next patient right away) but he just told me to do the best I can.

I can't believe it is a year today since my BIL died....I've text my sister, she says she's ok but it's bound to be a tough day for her, especially as it was THIRTY years on Friday since her eldest son was killed in a car crash :( :(

Sunny here today :)

Thoughts with Jen today xxxx
