I had lunch out today (a 3 course menu del dia ) so I only had cheese on toast for tea.

At least I've lined my stomach...I'm off out for a few beers - once I've watched the University Challenge final.

Morrison's ready made steak kidney pie
Instant mash
Green beans
And gravy very very yummy

Caldo verde soup and some very holey bread

Cheesy pasta and garlic bread - bit heavy for me to be honest, but M and B love it and I really CBA to make myself anything else

I really fancied some thick, juicy burgers, with cheese on top and chips, but we'd agreed on the soup.

My taste buds are non-existant at the moment

Now that the weather has picked up salad days are on the cards again - sardines, coleslaw, tomatoes, radishes - you get the picture.

Salad days never went away here Frank, I have salad for lunch and then salad with whatever meat or fish that we're having for dinner.
