Morning all :)

Make sure you're there on the dot Ally! ;)

It's bright but cloudy here, rain later most likely, so I'll wear a coat when I go out, and take my brolly! Flaming June eh?  ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Going to be a hot day 8-)

Good luck Ally x

I have to ring Paulo later, to see what time we can - hopefully - pick the car up :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: They were testing it all yesterday when I rang, so fingers, toes and eyes crossed.

Then we have to get Grumpy to the doc.

And I have to contact the laptop people, as the blasted thing won't connect to anything, although it tells me everything is connected :cute: :cute: :cute:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny, but very windy here.

Hope you get the car back today Ton.

Even more chaos than usual at the hairdresser yesterday, getting there early didn't help at all. A lady having foils done came in just after Jo applied my colour and even with the half hour wait for that to take and then having it washed out, I still sat for nearly 45mins with a towel on my head. She kept saying thanks for being so patient, well what choice did I have, I was hardly going to walk out in that state. Honestly she's a nightmare  Just as well I'd booked the cinema for 2.30 or we wouldn't have had time for a quick lunch. Enjoyed the film so sanity returned

Off out for coffee with the ladies this morning, nothing planned for this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Still blowing a hooley here and the plants in pots have blown over so must sort them out.
My lovely Acers are on the ground and Don says they need bigger and heavier pots so a visit
to Home Bargains is on the cards!!
Will call in M&S as it is next door and then Aldis next to to them.
Will stop off at Tankerton Heights near Whitstable and let the wind blow the cobwebs away

Good morning all.

It's what photographers used to call "cloudy bright" here at the moment. Future outlook - don't know.

Not much planned for today - just a few odd jobs.

Hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

Morning all

Ally enjoy the day and thanks for sending over the sunshine, it arrived this morning. Now if you could arrange for the warmth to follow as well that would be grand! Enjoy your coffee and good luck with the appointment this evening
Jan, fingers crossed you get your car back today - it's been ages without. Good luck for Grumpy's doc appointment. And odd re the laptop; hopefully you get it sorted. As a matter of interest, have you tried disconnecting and then reconnecting? Sometimes that works?
Kaz, it's definitely the kind of weather where you need to be prepared for all eventualities...
Jen, the hair appointment sounds rather disorganised - did they at least offer lots of coffee / tea / water etc?
Lissie, I got home yesterday and thankfully only one of my acers had blown over, but a bit odd as it's actually tucked in between a few shrubs in the flower bed so not sure if it was the wind or something else happened, esp as there are four acers in pots in that particular bed. And two more quite exposed on the patio and they were fine - all a bit odd really
Aggers, enjoy your day whatever it is you end up doing

Well, sunny then overcast, then sunny then overcast here. My colleague Hanna I think will be staying home today; she really shouldn't have come in yesterday but bossman was being a bit (ie very) grumbly about her being off sick on Monday so she felt she had to come in.... seriously they have the sniffles and it's doctors appointments and three days bed rest... yes she or I are off sick it's a huge inconvenience to them and how dare we; sigh

Usual workday for me then home via the shops and then last evening with Claudia at mine. She departs at silly o'clock tomorrow morning - I need to drop her off in Guildford at 6am and then I have my lounge back to myself which will be nice.

Have a lovely day all and don't get blown away by these winds x

Morning all, sunny and cloudy here but rain forecast for later  The only plan for today is supermarket shopping, and I also have another pile of winter clothes to put away. Mr Osc is working on his final music list for our friends' social on Saturday, hope the dancers like our choices! (Tough if they don't, really :P )
