Good morning all (it's just before Noon as I've started posting this
). It's dull but humid here.
It's been a busy few days, and that's without dog walks added in. John took Bill out last Sunday while me and Joe were in Manchester and I noticed on Monday that he was licking his paw, I checked it and one of the pads was quite red so I cleaned it up and put some Sudocrem on and the weather meant that we had an enforced inside stay anyway for a few days. It seemed to be healing, whatever it was, and at no time had given him any problems, he was still bouncing around like a nutter, but then on Friday it looked red again so I got him a vets appointment. John took him, along with Joe, and came back with pain killers and tablets but no idea what was wrong with him as neither of them could understand what the vet was saying
John's out on his bike, Tom's in the kitchen making himself a drink (but not me, I walked in just and said "oooh are you making coffee?", hoping that he'd offer to make me one too as I always offer him a drink if I make one but no offer came).
Saundra, I wonder if they'll head for Cosford after they've been to you? It's the air show there today. I'll keep my eyes open as our village is a holding area for aircraft making an approach to there, it's quite close across the fields as the crow - or the Lancaster in this case - flies.
Kaz, I'd always had insurance on our washing machine but haven't bothered with the one we got last Autumn. Same with the dishwasher. It's 6+ years old and it was insured for three years after the guarantee ran out but I've not bothered for the last two and a bit years.
Happy Birthday Don!
