Vocal Voices

I have copied and pasted this from my Facebook page. Most of you on here are also Facebook friends, but not all and when I used the term 'friends' in my message, I meant my cyber friends as much as anyone else, people like WM, Ossie, Aggers for instance who are not on Facebook. So I apologise for repeating myself but for those of you not on Facebook, thank you


Five years ago today, I woke up to the phone ringing. It was Dr Moss' secretary ringing with my biopsy results. Except she wasn't, she was ringing to say he would see me at 5pm that evening. So began a very, very long day. I think of that day as falling down a black hole and I hit the ground at 5pm with the words, I'm sorry but....... However, from that moment on, I started to climb out of the hole, with the help of the brilliant NHS, my friends and Tim. I am very aware of so many people who didn't have the luck I did, after all that is all it is, luck, and I am so very sorry, but there are also people who have just started falling down the same hole and this is for them to say 'there can be light at the end of the tunnel' I hope no one minds me posting these updates, but this month being 5 years means so much to me xxxxx
