Morning Ally, Di and everyone

Awful news.

Overcast and cool here this morning, which is quite pleasant.

Off to Ourique later, we have some friends coming round for a bbq later, so need beer, wine and food   Also need to pop into the drogaria for another extension cable. There are very few sockets in the this house

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, the news is horrific this morning. Those poor people :(

John left early to drive to Sunderland. Tom's working 11-6 and Joe's off to the cinema with friends this evening. I think they're seeing The Mummy. I'm changing bedding and doing washing today. There's some steam cleaning I want to do too.

My Mom's hip replacement surgery went well. My sister was at the hospital and called me yesterday afternoon and then passed the phone over to Mom. We called in to see her last night and she was chatting away and looking really well. I'll get down to see her today or tomorrow but she's going to have a lot of visitors and visiting times are quite restrictive. When my Nan was in there, on the same ward, visiting was from 12pm until 8pm but it's now changed to 2.30pm-4pm and 7pm-8pm and with two visitors to a bed it's a juggling act - there were 8 of us there last night

Have a good day all :)

Good morning all.

Di we put the news on in the bedroom, as we usually do on waking, and were so shocked. Absolutely horrific scenes, and stories emerging. I just had to switch off a few minutes ago, it got too upsetting, those poor poor people.

Jo I'm really glad your mum's op went well, I wish her a full and speedy recovery xxxx

Usual Wednesday for me - client this morning, zumba tonight.

xxxx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

We rarely turn the box on until the evening so hadn't heard about the tower block fire. Just taken a look at the news, how awful :(

Glad your mum's op went well Jo.

Up early as I'm off for coffee with the ladies this morning. If this weather holds up expect we'll be sitting in the garden this afternoon. Oh what a busy life

Hope you all have a good day :D

Awful news on the tv. It seemed to go up so fast.

MrsC and her sister are taking their dad to the supermarket this morning. MrsC and dad had a bit of a spat yesterday; he had run ouf of milk / it had gone off and when MrsC rang him up he launched into her about it like it was her fault (she'd only seen him the previous day and he'd said nothing about it). An hour later he rang back and said where was his milk, he hadn't had a drink of tea all day, etc etc. In the end I took him some milk, I think MrsC would have chucked it at his head.

They are taking him to Scarborough next week for a holiday and MrsC has already said she feels like pushing him off a cliif.

That apart my son in law has shingles but is still going to a funeral as a coffin bearer so MrsC has volunteered me to go up and look after their cockerpoo puppy, adored and called Dobby by everybody else and called The Ginger Rat by me, because he's into everything.

Anyhow I hope everyone has a lovely day!

Morning all

A very sad day in London - those poor poor people in that tower; just awful :(

Usual work day for me and then food shopping after work before heading off to a self defence class run by a friend and then home. Have tomorrow and Friday off which is lovely.

Jo, so pleased your mom's op went well
Cromwell, poor MrsC and good idea for you to take the milk to him

Have a good day all, enjoy all the bits and bobs you're up to or not up to :) x
