150 today.
I loved my trips there with the RAF. Goose Bay and Cold Lake. Camping in the woods, visits to Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver and Victoria on the island.
A more relaxed country you will never visit.

Lucky you.
It's a country I've often wished I could visit, but never got round to.

When we've visited the family in Niagara Falls US we've always flown into Toronto. It's a gorgeous city.
Saundra we used to do that, but from the US into Canada - over the Rainbow Bridge. Bet it's not so easy to do now!
One of my strongest and probably strangest memories of Canada though is flying over to Toronto and the plane starting to descend over the forests. The captain announced that we needed to refuel. I think it was somewhere in Quebec. It looked to be the middle of nowhere and was surrounded by trees, yet there was a runway big enough for a 747 to land and take off. We landed and suddenly cars and trucks started arriving from nowhere and it looked like most of the local population had come for a nosey. They all parked up and stood watching.
Frank, John's wanting to go to Vancouver someday. He has an aunt who lives there, plus the mountain biking is supposed to be very good!

The one country that was at the top of my list to go and see. I tried really hard, but injuries, and flight schedules have always been against me. One day I'll get there.

Becky loved it so much that she wants to eventually emigrate, and work in a wildlife park!

Been to Toronto. Walked over the glass floor at the top of the Toronto Tower. Also went to Niagara Falls. Stayed in the hotel which overlooks the Falls.
Been to Quebec on a cruise.
Would love to go there again.
When we flew to Canada from Manchester we stopped at a large airfield to refuel. I think it was Goose Bay. We were not allowed to leave the aircraft.
This was nineteen years ago.
