Good morning.

Scorchio!! 8-) 8-)

Mountain climb is cancelled! David has sprained his ankle. :o He fell over at work yesterday. Best to get it all tickety-boo before Norway.

I'm just off for a 10km yomp - I was geared up for a good climb so need to get rid of my frustration.

Back for a swim and a lazy day by the pool. :D :D

Off to la Plaza tonight to sit and have a beer and watch the world go by. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning all :)
Oh no, poor David, you'll both be worried but it should be time enough to recover. Fingers very firmly crossed x

We have some sunshine! So lovely to see it :)
It rained most of yesterday, then there was a huuuuge rainstorm in the night, loud enough to wake me up!

No plans for today, except sausage baguette for brunch :) will see how the day takes us :)
Hope you all have a good day
x

ouch, poor David. Not much on here as per usual. Went shooting (targets) in South Yorks the other day. It's in a disused quarry and I couldn't help noticing that the blackberry bushes were already starting to bear fruit. I think its going to be a good year for them.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally! Oh poor David, hope his ankle mends in time! :? Glad you enjoyed your run though, exercise always does that for my mood too 8-)

Lovely to have some sun Di! :D :D

It started off sunny here too, but is clouding over now. The weather feels really autumnal here at the moment, Crommers those berries are a bit early! Out for a cuppa and collect the paper shortly, Mick is driving H home later. It's been lovely having him here.

I'll do my ironing while he's out - no doubt B will be in bed, she just pinged me on Facebook to say she was getting a taxi home from Jasmine's place :o

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

A lovely morning here and hotting up nicely.

Ouch for David's ankle - hope he takes good care of it, ready for Norway.

Will have to do a bit of housework this morning, as we have friends round for dinner. I'll do the prop this afternoon, then I can relax.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it's still quite sunny here but I can see grey clouds in the distance. Rain is forecast for this afternoon.

Billy's had a very muddy walk and John's abandoned his usual Sunday morning mountain bike ride over the Chase to go around the lanes on his road bike. We're all off into Birmingham this afternoon. I've got dinner in the slow cooker, it's a recipe for taco pasta bake which I saw on Facebook so thought I'd give it a go.

Ally, I hope that David's ankle is soon better!

Kaz, safe journey to Mick and Harry!

Crommers, I've just had a handful of big juicy blackberries while walking Billy. They're early this year! Usually it's early September when we find any that are ripe enough here. The bushes are loaded with berries still to ripen too.

Have a good day all!

Talking of blackberries - just this morning I watched 3 old biddies with a trug rapidly being filled with big juicy blackberries. There are zillions of them here.

I need to pick some, my Mom and Dad want some too. I eat as many as I pick for pies though. A few years ago I still had some in the freezer which I'd picked so they went in the C*****mas Day Eton Mess.
My finger tips were stained purple this morning :D

Forgot to say that I missed the best of the Bilberries this year when Bill had his sore paw and couldn't got for walks. I did find a good crop on Hednesford Hills yesterday afternoon though. Problem was, I had to reach through a fence into the cow field to pick them
