I fell over, fell over my own feet head-butted the gravel on the drive, gave myself a lovely black eye and lots of cuts, broke my glasses - only on one side.
The next day, I rang our insurance guy, told what had happened, sent him photos of my rather nasty looking face and my glasses. One arm is stuck up in the air, one lens and frame are scratched badly on the left hand side.
He e-mailed me a claim form, I sent it back, with the explanation.
Also asked if I could go and order some new glasses, as I'm wearing a pair that are about 11 years old
Just received an e-mail, asking me to send him the frame He will then send it to Lisbon.
No answer about the new glasses.
This is the same company who weren't answering their phone, when we broke down on the motorway, for a couple of hours.
Guess what?
We're changing insurance companies soon
