Good morning all! It's raining here at the moment so I've made a cup of mint tea and I'm watching Everybody Loves Raymond. Hopefully it'll dry up for a walk shortly.

I've got to vacuum today, I can finally do Tom's room with him being away. It's hard to see the floor when he's home but he'd had a good tidy up before leaving yesterday and the floor is free of clothes, bags and suitcases for a change!

Had a great afternoon out with Joe yesterday. Best match we've been to in a couple of years. The train was a bit dodgy on the way back though. Its usually pretty good humoured on the way back with both lots of supporters on there but some West Ham got on and started going on about United supporters being on a train going south (yawn), and there were other comments made by them and one of our supporters took offence and started goading them about losing and it all got a bit threatening. Joe told me to keep my mouth shut but I really wanted to point out to one of the mouthiest of them that, judging by his accent, Bristol is as far from the East End as Manchester is from where a lot of our supporters were traveling to. They weren't the cleverest though, they'd actually managed to get on the wrong train

Have a good day all, and be on your best behaviour Di!

Ally, I really admire your energy. You must be as fit as a lop! Jo, that's sad about the football supporters; I thought that sort of thing was mostly history now. Glad you are Ok.

Not much on today but we are going away for a few days from tomorrow to the dales. We need a couple of days off and people who we run around after are going to have to shift for themselves for a few days. Fresh air, good food and some baaing sheep sound pretty good to me right now. :D

Morning everyone

Rather warm 8-) 8-)

General pootling today, too hot to do anything outside - even sitting in it makes me glow

Might pop over to see Mitch, he keeps saying we must visit - it'll get us out an about, anyway.

A posh hotel Di? Don't forget your gloves and 'at :D :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it was raining when we went to bed and the forecast was such that Mr Osc's golfing partner cancelled today's golf last night. However, it is quite bright and sunny and the rainfall radar doesn't show much coming our way, so he is heading to the golf club anyway to hit a few balls and have some fresh air. I am about to change the bed, then going to the gym at 11.30 - it is a 30 second walk up the street and I am always running up there at the last minute

Jo, Mr Osc thought it was a terrific match too, hopefully a sign for a good season. Cromwell, I am really pleased you are getting away for a few days, hope you have a lovely time and that the weather is kind.

Hi all - day off today as I have the first hospital appointment at 2 - have to be there 20 minutes earlier so they can do an ECG first. I don't like changing my days off as I never know what to do with myself....doesn't help that it's an afternoon appt. And I say "day off", in reality I have swapped it for Friday so I don't lose any time at work

It's bright and sunny here atm, but we are in for showers later.

Enjoy your day whatever you do x

Cromwell where are you heading? I love the Dales x
