Drove to David's earlier to pick up a rucksack - he made the executive decision that mine (although fine for local yomps) wasn't going to cut the mustard for Norway so has given me his and he bought a new one.

It's David's mum and dad's wedding anniversary so he went out with them tonight for a meal.

Don and I went for a few bit and bobs in town and popped into Jose's on the way home.

Blimey!! The hugs, kisses and best wishes I got from all the regulars really touched me.

I feel as if I'm some explorer going to discover some long lost land.

Gosh! - this is really, really hitting home now we are doing this in 2 days!

You are doing something that they would like to think they could Ally.

You have fun, enjoy, take loads of pics and tell us all about it when you get back.

As a complete side thingy, when I got back to the pub, in England, after doing a marathon walk, it was like winning a gold medal
