Good morning all, we've got a dull start.

I'm off out with Bill in a minute and then I've got some shopping to do. I've put some washing on the line so that'll need ironing and there'll be another walk this afternoon.

We have a dull start too, although the forecast is good so hopefully it will brighten up later. My new debit card arrived - hooray! We had a great night at salsa, and will definitely be going back Usual Saturday planned here, nice and quiet, which is great as we have a christening to go to tomorrow

Dull and grey here, but warm.

I've got the tomatoes to sort out and also looking into renewing Grumpy's driving licence and applying for my tax rebate

He's beginning to feel a lot better so I might show him where the paint brushes and rollers are and he can carry on with that Some of the tiles on the front terrace have lifted, so that needs sorting out too.

Glad you enjoyed the salsa Kaz - good exercise too

Lovely fresh morning here--warm but not sunny yet.
Our little man arrived early to do a couple of hours in the garden.
He is so good. So far he has weeded the top bed-cut the Budlea (SP) back.
Cut down the blackberries that are knocking the neighbour`s fence down and she
is worried that her little dog will get out.
He is then going to pick a bucketful of apples and all this for £10 an hour.
He is really quick and does`nt clock watch.

We're back from shopping.
Got up early to go to Lidl, they had 6 bottles of Prosecco for £20! However, it was all gone by 8.15
Then a chap found another crate so we got two.
Except when we got to the checkout it was the wrong prosecco, i.e. full price...after a nice chat with the checkout guy, he magically found one of the right cases, under his till and let us have it

So, mission accomplished although only 6 bottles, and a yummy croissant for me too
It wouldn't have been a wasted trip, we don't go often so got a few bits, washing powder etc - but wouldn't have chosen to go so early!

As for the rest of the day, Bb has work to do (here, thankfully), we won't be going out, it will be wall to wall traffic

Morning all

It was baking here yesterday, not as nice this morning but still quite bright.

We've had a nice lie in, really need to have a couple of easy days before we set off for London to meet my sister and BIL on Tuesday. We'll be up there until Friday and much as I'm looking forward to seeing them again, must admit I'm a bit worried about how I'll cope, really really sore at the moment and don't want to spoil things for them.
