Good Morning Tuesday

Postby JoM » 29 Aug 2017, 05:31

Good morning all, it's sunny here so I'm taking Billy out in a minute - rain is forecast for around 8 so hopefully we can be home before that starts.

The campers arrive home later this afternoon so I'm going to make taco pasta in the slow cooker for whatever time they get back, and then I'll tear my hair out at the washing they bring home :P

Have a good day all!

Morning all :)

Morning Jo, it's overcast here, rain on its way no doubt! Still, we had the most beautiful long weekend - the hottest August BH on record here in the West Country, so can't complain :D :D 8-)

Becky is home, and I think wants to pop to the bank, and I have something to post for Harry this week, so might go with her :) Will go and see D afterwards :)

Best wishes for Mrs Suff's results.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Think we're in for another scorcher.

The MRI wasn't the worst thing I've had done, but it was extremely uncomfortable and not something I would be happy to do again. They managed to get my back supported so I was okay from the waist down, but my rather large boobs and dodgy shoulders were extremely cramped and uncomfortable. If I ever have it done again I will know to take some elbow pads  The good thing is I went in feet first, it would have been too difficult if I'd had to go in head first. No chance for anyone suffering with claustrophobia. I was hoping to get the results in a couple of week, but apparently I'll have to wait 3/4 weeks, even urgent cases have to wait a week.

We're up early getting ready for the trip up to London. Looking forward to seeing my sister again, but must admit if the hotel hadn't been prepaid I'd be tempted to make it just one day. Have a feeling I'll be spending a lot of time sitting while they enjoy the sight seeing.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all. Overcast and rain here. Sorry for not being around much but life is a bit stressed right now. Our son who is living with us prior to moving into his house has hurt his back and is in agony. He has been going to the gym, stripping wallpaper off and played two games of football over the weekend. It's been the bank holiday so he couldn't see any chiropractor yesterday. Now he can but his old one is booked up all week.
Apart from that we've been FiL minding, looking after my daughter's dog and we are supposed to be helping my son move some stuff out of the house and decorate.
I hope things look up soon or I'm off to live on the top of a hill in Wales or something. Sorry to put a downer on things, if things do look up I'll certainly tell you!

Have a good day everyone.

Cromwell, take care. It all sounds stressful. Hope your son's back is soon better xx

Fingers crossed the plumber turns up today Saundra xx

Kaz, it suddenly went very dull here just after we left the house and was drizzly for most of the walk. It was so humid too.

Jen, I hope you have a lovely time and manage to get some rest xx
