Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 04 Sep 2017, 05:38

Good morning. :D

In today's beautiful sunshine we are going to walk this morning to Benalmadena port for a spot of breakfast. :D

A long mooch back along the sea front and shops and later to a chiringuito for sardines. :D

Don's picking us all up at 7pm to take us back to our town where we're going to meet up with David for a few beers and tapas. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, that all sounds like fun :D

Morning all :)

It's a typical early autumn day here, I've only been awake for an hour and already seen brilliant sunshine, and chilly cloud. Showers forecast!

Becky has started her new job at the vets this morning, she was out of the house before 7am as she starts at 8am this week :) She'll be workng 8am - 2pm, then 1pm - 7pm, alternate weeks. She was very excited and a little nervous last night, so some VV vibes and good wishes would be very welcome :D

I am also a little nervous ( :P ) as it's the first WW meeting for three weeks and I've not been as careful as I could have been :? So we'll see!

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Best of luck and tons of vibes to Becky for today; hope she has an amazing first day and that she'll be very happy there.
And good luck for the WW Kaz, I'm sure you'll be just fine
Ally have a fab day with the girls and enjoy the walking, lunching, mooching and nattering :D
Di have a fab day with the ladies on the IoW - enjoy.

Grey and wet here this morning but same as for Di, meant to be clearing, although I'm not 100% sure that'll happen. Usual / usual for me today. I had a lovely lovely weekend; busy Saturday and the most lazy ever Sunday which was bliss.

Have a lovely day all, enjoy whatever it is you're up to xxx

Good morning all. There's a bit of fine rain in the air here, and it's rather dull.

I've just been to the doctors about my leg pains, and am assured that it is not arthritis - thank heavens-
but muscular. Something I've done in the garden must have probably caused it. I have been given some
ointment to apply three times a day, and hopefully that should clear it up. I certainly hope so as it has
been getting much worse lately.

I hope Becky has a lovely day, Kaz.

Morning all
Rain has stopped but it is very cold.
Don thinks the time has come to put his shorts away and
get his jeans back out.
Got to wait in as Hermes are delivering a parcel from La Redoute (been waiting
over 3 weeks for it) and they are known for leaving it anywhere.
Got to go to Aldis at some point today as Don is out of wine!!!
Have a good day one and all.

Morning all, it's dull here but rather warm. I have a batch of soup in my trusty soupmaker and will be off to the gym shortly. Then after lunch, I am going to a nearby jewellers to get batteries for two watches and a strap for one - does anyone else have "holiday" watches that only come out mostly for holidays? I also want to pop into the supermarket beside the jewellers to get a few things I can't get in Lidl. I checked in for our cruise yesterday, it's a bit of a tedious process but done now, and exciting to see it all printed out.

Aggers, glad to see that your leg pains are nothing sinister. Di, have a lovely day out! Good luck to Becky, the first day in a new job is always scary.

Good luck Becky!! :D

Good morning all, it started off very foggy and grey here but is brightening up quite nicely now. Tom's just getting ready to leave, he's got a moving in meeting and we'll go over with the car loaded up this evening. That should be fun. It's in the city centre and has no car parking. There are bus stops all along the road outside so no stopping there to off load and the nearest pay and display is a couple of minutes walk away. Still, the area feels a lot safer than where he's been living in halls for the last two years.

That's good news Aggers!

Have a good day all!
