Good morning.

Forecast for 32 degrees but dropping to 29 tomorrow - it's been a long hot summer. 8-) 8-) The high 20's will suit my folks better who are flying over next Saturday. :D :D

I'm off for a swim shortly, back for coffee and a watch of Mr Martin. :D :D

More than happy to be at home today and SCD tonight. We'll order a Chinese delivery for dinner. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

A cool start, rather windy.

Ideal for rendering for Grumpy and weeding for me.

James Martin later, then back at it

Have a good day, whatever you're doing xx

Morning both, morning all :)
Bright at the moment but not likely to last.

We had a lovely, lovely time last night :D
The restaurant was fab, it was originally a church, then a school but has been a restaurant for a good few years.
The food was absolutely gorgeous and the staff really good too.

Apart from that, eldest (S) had the best news, he has three - three! - interviews this coming week, two in London and one in Basingstoke. One he has already had an hour long phone interview, one includes an exam...they're tough these days aren't they!

Hope you all have a good day
x

God morning all.

It's bright and sunny here now. I'm off to the local shop soon.
I don't feel much like walking this morning, but I intend to force myself.

Hope you all are OK.

Thanks Ally, he sure has, not just the course but he's worked his mis-matched socks off every holidays too.

Morning all :D

Changeable here, one minute overcast the next very sunny.

Lovely long lie in, only just sitting down for brekkie.......bliss 8-)

Don't get me wrong, it's been nice to see Ivan with Ernie, but I'm definitely visitored out now. Hasn't helped that I've been really sore for the past couple of days. Thursday we went down to the harbour, E walked there with them, I had to catch the bus. We ate in the new 'spoons' which was very nice and then we treated them to ice cream in Sorbetto. Had intended to go into Broadstairs yesterday but it was persisting down so we took Ernie to an indoor soft play place. Afterwards we all had lunch across the road at our local pub. Luckily Ivan treated us, it's been an extremely expensive few weeks.

So pleased you had a lovely evening Di. Well done to S, wishing him lots of luck.

Absolutely no plans today, really should go food shopping, but we're just going to make do this weekend.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon all, it started off a pleasant enough day, but as per the forecast, the showers are moving in now. We went to see Michael playing football on the local pitch, it was quite chilly as we were standing there. In the end, as Michael said he was also playing in the U9s which meant another hour (such devoted grandparents!) we went home and got jackets. I've picked up a few bits of shopping, had my fringe trimmed, had lunch, and am now trying to think which items on my list I fancy doing most. Looking forward to Strictly tonight.
