Have to be at the clinic at 9.00 to take the monitor off, then back to Ourique for shopping.

Depending on how hot it is we'll decide then what else we're doing today.

Well it's dry and sunny at the moment, after Aileen blew in yesterday.
It was pretty strong, 70 mph apparently, I had to close the bedroom window as it was so noisy!
Our only damage is battered down cosmos but I'm sure there will be worse in the Forest.

Had to get up early so I could eat something, Ct scan this morning and no food for 3 hours before.

We had a pretty disturbed night, as the rattling of the wind disturbed Fraggle, and we had to let him out a few times All seems well outside now, it's still a little windy, but bright sunshine I have a few bits of food shop to get, so Sainsbury's is on the cards at some time. Zumba tonight

Usual work day for me then home to do the final prep for my holiday. Besides the toiletries I'm packed, so now it's just to sort the cat food etc and give the house a quick once over. We're only flying on Friday morning but I'm staying at my friends tomorrow night so as of tomorrow morning the cats will be in the hands of my neighbour. Just hope that this time round she gets it right with what food is for the cats and what for the hedgehogs. Last time, come day 4 or 5 she got the two mixed up (admittedly easily done if you don't know, but I had labelled the containers!). Anyway, cats not overly impressed, hedgehogs apparently munched it all So this time round I'm printing pictures

Ria Poor pusscats We are on cat feeding duty next door this weekend Sue next door asked, as they are away for the weekend. Becky is going to do it as I'm not that good with cats, whereas she loves them and is hoping to sneak a cuddle, if be lets her

The Spanish have 2 breakfasts Ria.

an early morning coffee with perhaps a magdalena cake or similar.

Then at 10am it's proper breakfast.

Choose from coffee (lashings of!)
Chocolate and churros
Tostada with various jams and marmalades
Pitufos
Lots of different types of bread rolls which are toasted and filled with ham or cheese etc.

I'm just off out shortly....pitufo with Jamón ibérico & cheese is my favourite!

That made me laugh ria our drs are dire don't even speak as you walk in just hand you a prescription and that's it it's just 4older men lady dr left can't move to another practice because all lists are closed
