Hot & sunny on the cards again.

Today is my lovely mum's 80th birthday! Happy birthday to the best mum in the world!

I'm off for a run as soon as it's light, a quick swim then ready to go and pick my folks up and bring them over for the day.

I've made crock pot cottage pie (mum's fave) and there's lots of presents and cards for her to open. Conor's coming over later this afternoon.

Hot, muggy and a bit overcast here today. We're headingbinto town later for lunch and some mooching about the shops. Need to stock up on mozzie repellent. My two friends have been munched whereas I haven't which is odd, as Sarah usually never gets bitten and I always do.


Then back to laze by the pool and have dinner in.

Huge stack of ironing to get through this morning and then this afternoon we're borrowing Steve's truck. We can't get the wood we need in our car and it's a minimum of 25€ delivery, so we'll put 10€ in his truck and use that.

It's a lovely sunny morning here - so far!
We are going into town shortly to see an osteopath, to find out just what I should be doing
and what I shouldn't be doing about my painful legs, but as we don't know how far it is out
of town, we've booked a taxi.

Afternoon all, it's 12.30 here in Athens and very hot. We are staying on the ship today....well cruising is hard work and we need a rest We are having a really wonderful time, getting along very well with our Canadian friends and having huge fun with two other American couples at our table. Getting in some dancing too

Ria, we've got bitten too, before we even left Venice and I got a little cluster on my neck as we were sailing in this morning Di, glad to see your flights are ok, our flight home on Saturday seems to be ok too.
