A swim mid morning then popping into town for a few bits and pieces.

Homework club 4.30 - 6.30 then meeting Don for our usual Friday night beers and tapas.

Good morning all, it's quite bright here and not as cold as the last few days. I needed my torch for the first 15 minutes of Billy's walk this morning though.

John's cycled into work, he's changed his normal route today and is cycling two-thirds of it on trails over the Chase before joining the lanes near Lichfield. Only another couple of weeks of him cycling to and from work on Fridays, he stops once the clocks change and it's dark when he goes out and again when he comes home. Joe's in college today so he left at 8.

Foggy this morning No point getting up early, so had coffee and read in bed

I intend to scrub the kitchen floor this morning - by hand.

The washing I did for Antonia yesterday is still wet, so I'll take it to her this afternoon, hopefully the sun will break through soon.

Di, the weather is odd isn't it - really gloomy and looks like it should be quite cold, but the air is lovely and warm. I wore my thinner mac to work this morning the other one would have been far to hot
Jo, hope Billy is OK this morning? I'm not looking forward to the clock change - leaving and coming back in the dark isn't fun
Jan, do you have a steam mop? If not you should look at getting one - what with all your tiled flooring that'd be ideal for you and so quick and easy to whizz around the house

Usual work day for me and then a GP appointment late this evening.

Absolutely! Our entire house has tiled flooring. There's no way I'd be without mine.

Couldn't be without mine either. In fact, I got a combined steam mop and steam cleaner for Christmas last year. I was like a kid at, well, Christmas with it. John refused to buy me one for Christmas yet it was all I wanted so I treated myself

But I'll look in Wortens, next time we're in Castro Verde, or maybe next time we go down to the Algarve. Probably cheaper there than here.
