A while back I posted about a lonely sock that had lost its twin.

Today I was taking some winter long sleeved T shirts from their vacuum bag and there in the middle was one lonely sock.

The thing is that I had already sent its twin to the home for lonely young socks.

Be brave young sock, there is a whole new monoped world out there just waiting for you.

And the moral of the story is:-

always keep your lonely single socks, they might, just might, find a partner

Isolated!?

It is global! Worldwide socks are going missing every day and they will never be reconnected with their partners.

It is time for the UN, Oxfam and SSAU (Single socks are us) to step in. What do we pay these people for?

We are talking about millions of separated socks here......

It is is a global sockastrophe, We need to act.

I have always thought the life-time solution to this particular dilemma was only to buy one colour of sock - black.
OK, there may be times when you find you have 23 black socks, but eventually one will go AWOL and then you have 22 - harmony duly restored!

I have lots of black socks.
Some have different tops.
They all end up fifty shades of black
