Good Morning Sunday

Postby JoM » 22 Oct 2017, 06:17

Good morning all, it's dry at the moment.

Out with Billy in a minute. Hopefully any rain forecast for this morning won't stick around so that I can dry a load of washing. Going to make a cottage pie for lunch and then we're popping over to Stafford this afternoon. I want to look for some new wellies. I think Joe's deserting us at some point today and going to stay overnight at his friend Jack's house.

Have a good day all!

Good morning JoM,
Very windy this morning but no rain. Still grey skies so we may have some more. Had plenty yesterday.
Been for the paper and some cream for mrs.e's coffee. I have mine black. Went in the car. Not trying to walk in the strong wind.
Doing some more packing as we are off again on Friday.
Have a good day everybody

Morning Jo, Cruiser and everyone

Lovely sunny morning, but, by heck, that's a cold wind  Will warm uo later, I hope 8-) Still wearing ferlip ferlops, but also a cardi

Alan and Nina will head off, bearing gifts, about 10.00, then we'll have a cooked brekkie and sort out what we'll be doing today. Gardening, I think.

Grand Prix later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)
And it's a lovely cold, bright sunny one, with no wind! :D
Looking hopeful for some washing.

No plans but if it stays nice we might take Minnie to the sea, I think the jellyfish have gone.

There's cricket to be watched, and Bb will watch the grand prix, doesn't start till after Strictly :)
Have a good day all

Morning all :)

Jo, I love cottage pie :D

Di, I hope it stays nice enough to take Minnie to the sea :)

You're getting nesh out there Jan ;) Flip flops and cardi? Blooming parky here! :P

Morning Cruiser :)

Well I had a Fab evening last night! The George Michael tribute act, Fastlove, was spine tinglingly good! Emma saw the real deal in 2009 and said this guy was amazing :) He was lovely too, chatted in the foyer afterwards and let people take photos. I took a few, but photography is not a strong point

Harry is here, but I haven't seen him yet! He was in bed asleep when I got home, and is still asleep now    The plans are a quick trip out for the papers, then a roast chicken dinner later :D

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Glad you had a good time Kaz :D Some of these tribute acts are excellent. Our old window cleaner was Billie Joe Armstrong in a Green Day tribute  They were actually very good and played all over the country. They disbanded a few years ago and played a farewell gig at the local theatre, couldn't go though as it was Eve's 18th birthday party that night

Harry's obviously cosy in his new duvet then Kaz

Di, enjoy the walk!

Cruiser, you did the right thing going by car! I have Coffee Mate in my coffee, not as heavy as cream but creamier than milk :)

It's so windy out there, more so than yesterday I think! I chanced taking Billy as the forecast was for heavy rain starting around 8am but it stayed sunny throughout and still is now! The washing is blowing around quickly on the rotary line and I've taken the cushion covers off in both living rooms so they're in the machine now.

Morning Jo :) He's a typical 17 year old, it takes a crowbar to prise him off the mattress

Tea and toast in bed sounds good to me Saundra ;) Hope you have a good day, how are you feeling now? Have the meds kicked in? xxxxx

Hello all. Grey and windy here today, a bit of sun wouldn't go amiss. Son's house is coming along now, the front room was plastered yesterday so it's mainly painting and a clean before the carpets go down. I don't think there's any more rubbish to go to the tip now apart from the old fridge. If we lived where Jo lived we'd be bankrupt by being charged to go to the dump. Surely this must mean more fly tipping?

I'm always impressed by your early walks with Billy, Jo. He must be a very happy dog and you must be fit!

Kaz, lol at the 17 year old! Tea and toast for me too now Saundra.

Have a lovely day everyone.
