Parental surprise....

....first thing I want to do is a big call out to our Jacob.
It was him and his twin's birthday Monday gone and Jacob really wanted to be here. Work commitments prevented that.
J also wanted to see his grandparents so thought s*d it.
And booked ridiculously expensive flights.
Last night meeting him and Don in our local bar was just lovely.
But today was priceless!
Mum has her hair done at 11am then her and dad mosey on to Burger King (naff I know. But they never do this in the UK )
Anyway...Miss Marple (AKA me) judged the time that all this would take.
The 3 of us (Don, Jacob and me) got to BK at 11.45 and had a coffee...all the time looking out the huge windows for my folks. I spotted them and Jacob was ordered to go to the gents!
Mum and dad walked in and oohs and aahs were exchanged as we made out this meeting was coincidental and we'd just been into Dealz. (We hadn't but a wee lie doesn't matter )
Anyway.....a few perfectly timed seconds later out walks Jacob. Mum? Sat open mouthed. Dad? Burst into tears! But happy ones he kept on telling me.
Sunday will be good. Mum, dad, Conor, Lucia, Jacob, Don and myself will be at ours for a day together.
