Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 01 Nov 2017, 05:54

Good morning. November already! :o

I'm going to walk from la playa to Benalmadena port again then pick my folks up at 12.15 to take them to the airport. A 16km brisk walk along the coast will help with my dread of them going home! :(

46 days they've been over and they've had a smashing time...both going home as brown as nuts. They'll certainly miss this weather.

I'll come back home and spend the rest of the day at home. As it's Día de los Muertos it's a holiday so no work this evening. I'll be more than happy to just relax and watch some TV.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone

Rather hazy this morning - jeans and cardi weather ;) butt he sun is trying to come out.

Hate saying good-bye, I always cry   Then again, I cry the family arrive too     Such a cry baby me   Say adeus from me too Ally and they'll be back again soon xx

Holiday here too, so although we could go to the clinic for y flu jab and sort out the anti pneumonia one for Grumpy, we're going to Castro Verde instead. Haven't been to the market for a long time, and we need some cushions for the new chair.

It's Antonia's birthday today and a few (12 ish) are going down to the bar for duck and rice - and bubbles, apparently.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

((((((Ally)))))) Saying goodbye is hard :( Are they back in April? Enjoy your coffee in the sunshine :) xxxxxx

Morning Saundra :)

Di my plans are similar to yours ;) xx

Have fun Jan! 8-) :D

It's a dry, misty morning here! Ear!y start as Mick has a dental appointment in Cheltenham at 8.50! Hopefully they will now be able to start the cosmetic treat he so badly needs (crowns, bridges etc) now that his gums are stable, following years of specialist treatment :? Expensive times ahead, and all because he broke a few teeth playing rugby, which allowed infection in, exacerbating a genetic gum problem, inherited from D :( Ho hum.......

Zumba tonight! :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

((Ally)). Goodbyes are always a bit emotional, but I bet your folks have had the best time, and they will be back before you know it. Sympathy for Mick Kaz, rugby must have made a lot of money for dentists over the years. Enjoy the birthday get together Jan!

Over to sons house again today. The upstairs carpets go down tomorrow, a few small jobs to do today.

Have a good day everyone.
