She came to assess us re the walk in shower for Don.
What a very nice person she was.
We won`t hear anything for a while but they will write and say
if we have got a grant or not or if we have to pay some ourselves.
This we are quite willing to do.
If nothing else she has put down more grab rails where needed. Two special
seats so he can sit at the work tops and do things (like the washing up.
He is delighted that she has suggested a galvanised hand rail at the side of the steps
so he can get down the top tier of the garden.
We must just wait now with fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed Lissie, I do hope they do something. Did they indicate how long the "wait a while" may be?

She reckons quite a long time as they have a long waiting list but already it is quicker than we
were expecting.
The rails etc could be next week.

Hope you get things sorted lissie extra rails are good I have a extra banister rail on the stairs good luck if you might have to pay for the shower yourselves couldn't you have it done privately tho and probably alot quicker
