Good morning Monday

Postby Diflower » 20 Nov 2017, 07:39

Morning :)
Bit dark and dull out there but think it's meant to be ok.

It's Monday so that means out early for yoga, followed by coffee then the hospital for blood tests.

Hope you all have a good day

Raining hard when i got up but now the sun is coming through :D
Got to take Don to see the Cardiac Nurse this morning as she is going to check his
medications.
This was supposed to be done just after he saw the Cardiologist which was about 4 months ago.
Our doctor chased it up otherwise he would still be waiting.
Going to get all the cards etc out that i bought at the sales last year to see what else i need.
Have a good one.

Good morning, it's not raining here at the moment, although it was earlier and more forecast later. We were up a bit earlier than normal as Miss Osc was coming to use our shower - their boiler has been on the blink and the plumber is waiting for a new part  Kellie was with her, and got very upset because she thought she was coming for a sleepover (actually next Sunday). My sister looks after her on Mondays so she collected her from here and Kellie went off happily with her.

Off to the gym shortly, no special plan for the rest of the day, although I have a few things on my list. I just booked a night in a Dublin hotel for when we go to a ball in January - still waiting for the confirmation email, even though I spelled out my email address twice, I bet she still got it wrong. Oh well, I can call back if I hear nothing by tomorrow.

Good morning all, it's dull here today. It was raining first thing so we didn't go out for an early early walk but went at 8 instead when the rain had stopped. Got back at around 9.45, had a quick cup of coffee and then went out for another walk, just across to the post office to put a letter in the postbox this time.

I didn't really get chance to check in yesterday. It's been a lovely and full-on weekend. John, Joe and myself went to the Black Country Museum on Saturday night. It was a new event, something to do with light projections on some of the buildings, and the tickets were actually free. It made a really nice change and funnily enough me and Joe had said, the day before it was announced, that we wondered what it was like in the museum after dark so we got the chance to see.

When we got home Tom and Shannon were there. Tom doesn't usually stay on Saturday nights as well but he wanted to go for another drive on Sunday with John (John had already sat in with him on Saturday morning for an hour) so Shannon came over and they stayed until Sunday evening. Had a really lovely day, and Tom drove back to Wolverhampton so he's now tried city centre driving too. That was my first time in the car with him driving and he did well! John had to drive back in his car as he's got nowhere to keep it at the flat, apart from pay and display car parks. We all went around to see my parents yesterday afternoon. John and I were in our car following Tom, Shannon and Joe in Tom's  John was a nervous wreck!

Kaz, I hope D manages to get a good sleep before too long xx

Hope you're not waiting too long for the bloods Di! xx

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

We've had rain, just overcast and dull at the moment.

Busy day yesterday. We decided to put the lights up, they won't go on before December of course, but it's about pacing ourselves this year, good to get it done while it was nice and dry. Last year was the first time we did it, E hates heights, being in a bungalow finally made it possible. Nothing too fancy, just ice white lights around the guttering, it looks lovely :D We also put a new shower caddy in the bathroom. The one we bought when the shower went in was really rusty, can't complain, it was very cheap. This one is supposed to be rust free, got it from John Lewis, very expensive so it had better last!!

No plans for today, need to do a quick whiz round the house but that's about it.

Have a good day :D

Greetings all - a busy morning again so no chance to say hello before now. Had a lovely and busy Saturday and a good mix of pootling on Sunday. I collected my new bicycle on Saturday so that was huge fun. My previous one I gave to Amelia as I wasn't really using it, but now with the allotment being so close it'd be daft to use the car all the time. So I finally bought a proper upright bike. Our company is part of the cycle to work scheme and yes I know you're meant to use the bike for daily commuting, but hey.... I have good intentions every day ;-) But not sure we'll be part of the scheme for much longer so figured I better get the bike whilst I can... :Hi:

Glad D is doing better Kaz. Hope Grumpy feels better soon x

usual / usual for otherwise; grey and dreary here today so just as well there's nothing planned

Have a lovely day everyone enjoy the bits and bobs you're all up to x
