Good morning Ally and all.

Still dark here but forecast to be dry this morning with winds up to 50mph this afternoon. I'll walk Billy shortly and then I've got some shopping to do.

Hope the report writing goes well Ally!

Have a good day all!

Good morning all.
A wet windy one here in Kent.
Grand daughter Beckie is coming to see us tonight to show us her wedding
photos. Looking forward to that.
The washing i left out overnight is looking sorry for itself.
Going to M&S later to get a meal deal £10.
Beckie is a vegan so i don`t know what to get her. Any ideas???
Have a good day.

Morning all :)
Dry and windy here, rain not due till late afternoon I think.

Report time comes around quickly Ally!

Lissie vegan is tricky, maybe staff in marks would be able to help? I wouldn't know if they have any vegan ready meals...vegetarian is relatively easy but I've never had to cook vegan (yet!).

Yesterday did some c-shopping, plus an accidental jumper for me :)
Today I have no plans, will see where the day takes me.

Have a good day all
x

Morning everyone

Looks damp out there :o :o :o is also grey and not so warm. Supposed to be 23C

Off to Ourique later, to do various bits, money on phone, shopping, petrol in car.

Grumpy will be lounging around again  8-)

Can't help with vegan food Lissie, apart from things like tofu or quorn.

Good luck with the reports Ally :? 8-)

It's getting a bit gusty here too Jo.

Shortly I''m going to see an ex-work colleague who had a double hip replacement on November 2nd.
I didn't know they did both at once but it's what he wanted; hip problems plague his family, his sister had both hers done in her 30's. He wants to go out for beers and a curry on Friday but imo he's being a bit optimistic. We'll see.

Later son, son in law and yurs truly are moving the big bits of furniture into his hous, bed, settee etc.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all :)

Very windy here, not sure I'll venture out in it :? Shame, as I was planning a mooch round the Victorian Market today, weather permitting :( They've not been lucky with the weather for that this year, really. Lots of rain and unseasonably warm doesn't really make you feel like Christmas shopping, does it? :?

I like the sound of an Accidental Jumper, Di ;) :D

Enjoy your visitors !issie. I think asking the staff in M&S is your best option, as already suggested xxxx

Ally that's a LOT of reports!

Morning Jan :) xx

Crommers he will have to take it easy! When my Aunty Rose had her hip done she set her recovery back a little by overdoing it and getting an infection :( Hope he is back to full speed soon!

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all

Ally, good luck with the report writing - don't envy you that; at what point do you run out of different things to say :D
Lissie, I agree with Di; ask the staff to help you - vegan cooking sounds relatively simple but I struggle to come up with ideas. Most pasta is vegan so what about a nice vegetable casserole in a tomato sauce (just don't use any thickening and check the spices if they're vegan) - to be honest I've never understood the concept of vegan - vegetarian yes; but vegan I struggle with :?

Crommers, speedy recovery to your ex-colleague; I also didn't know they could do both at the same time; that must be quite uncomfortable? But assume it's for a short duration of time and then once all settled there's no looking back?
Jo, Jan & Di, enjoy your respective days shopping, pootling, mooching and walking dogs ;)
Kaz, the christmas market on the southbank has the same problem - it's 13 degrees overnight at the moment. But next week is colder so hopefully things will pick up for them then

Usual / usual for me; although saying that my neighbour managed to catch another little hedgehog last night... just in time as it's going to get a lot colder come the weekend. She's bringing it over to me tonight as I've got the hutches set up in the greenhouse so it'll be safe and warm until I can get it to a rescue. Got such a busy weekend though it may need to be with me until next weekend vs this one - I'll see what I can come up with.

have a lovely day all and enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Just back from town and it's getting very windy out there, it really is mild though. I was warm in a long sleeved t shirt and light jacket.

I bought the boys their advent calendars while I was out  and got myself a Christmas crochet magazine with some nice ideas in so I'll have a good look at that shortly. I also stocked up on Tassimo coffee, the Costa one that we have and the Baileys Macchiato Latte which I could easily get myself addicted to (I limit myself to one a day  ) but hey, I'm not eating chocolate so I must have a treat.

I'll see how it goes for taking Billy for his second walk later. We can pretty much avoid a lot of the woodland if it's extremely windy but there's also heavy rain forecast. Still, he had a lovely long walk and a good run all over the golf course (and a huge fuss off the grounds man). I'm definitely noticing that the mornings are darker now, oh well it's just a few weeks until the shortest day and then we'll be heading back into longer days

Cromwell, good luck with the furniture moving. Best wishes to your friend too, I hope that he's not overdoing things though.

Kaz, it does feel odd to be Christmas shopping when it's so mild doesn't it. I remember a couple of years ago though (2015 I think), I left the one Christmas tree in the garage until a few days before. It was something like Dec 21st, I was in the garden in a t shirt and jeans and decided to cut the lawn before I got the tree and decorations out of the garage.

Di, I'm laughing at you and your accidental jumper
