Five killed in a stolen car that hit a tree at high speed.
The tree is on the left of the double driveway leading between next door and S&K's, who we have known for donkey's yeas. S was my sisters bridesmaid and they have been best friends since primary school. They did not see the crash but heard it and saw the carnage and the aftermath. They had to give statements to the police and as the roads is still closed they have gone down to my sister's for some rest as not much sleep was had.

Not surprised they need a rest, what a dreadful thing to happen, and thank goodness none inside were hurt xx

If a car hits a tree the results are usually bad for the car.
I hope your friends weren't too upset by witnessing what must have been a very traumatic scene Frank.

Sad. It is still not clear if all those who died were in the car. Two brothers aged 12 and 15 died and two 15-yr-olds have been arrested and charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
I have spoken to sis and she says S is in mild shock and she is very quiet. Everybody is staying put for tonight and they are going to order in a comforting takeaway with all the trimmings. Sounds sensible.
