Good Morning all -- Pinch, Punch first of the month etc.
Blowing a gale and pouring with rain but not so cold at the moment.
It is our 61st Wedding Anniversary today. I wonder if any of the family remembers
Happy Anniversary to you as well Jen
Bought a M&S Pizza and a bottle of wine to celebrate and will wear my new jumper.
Have a good day all.

Morning Lissie, morning all :)
Congratulations Lissie, happy anniversary!

Another beautiful cold, crisp day.
Art this morning, the last till January and apparently we are to do a portrait, in oils
Whizz home to change then to the hospital for scans.
No food within 3 hours so a 2 o'clock scan means no lunch till I get home again.

This evening we're walking up into the village for their Christmas event, they shut the roads and have stalls all round the square as well as in the church hall.
The fish and chip shop is on the way home, so that will be dinner :)

Hope you all have a good day
x

Morning Lissie, Di and everyone

Frosty start   but the sun is thawing the fields out already.

Happy Anniversary to you both Lissie. That's as long as I've been alive

Good luck with the scans Di and enjoy your evening. Have some fish and chips for me, or at least send some over ;)

Ironing for me and I'm not sure if we have dinner guests this evening or not. If we do, it's chicken and bacon. if we don't, it's fish pie 8-)

Sending over love and hugs to Ally, Don and family xx

Have as good a day as you can everyone x

Good morning all, sunny and frosty here. It looks like we had a very light dusting of snow overnight too.

I took Billy first thing and now, after half an hour on the cross trainer, I'm doing some housework. Tom will be back at lunchtime to pick up his car to drive to work so I might make some soup for him as he'll be cold after waiting around for buses.

Happy Anniversary Lissie!

Thoughts are with Ally and Don today xx

Good luck with the scans Di xx

Kaz, I always follow the meteorological seasons, they make more sense to me than the astronomical ones.

Have a good day all xx

Happy Anniversary Lissie. Your day sounds nice Di! Yes, good luck with the scans. Jan, we have ice here. Looking out the top of the car is still frozen and there is black ice on our road. Enjoy your shopping Kaz and Jo, we're having veggie soup today, just right for this weather. Thoughts for Ally and Don today.

We are having family over tonight for a bit of a do, so there is some shopping to be done. Saundra, it sounds like you have the same weather as us so take care if you go out, it does look really icy outside.

Have a good day everyone.

Just had a nice present from Age UK. They have fitted 6 grab rails
and a galvanised rail down the steps in the garden to make it
easier for Don to get about. (will help me too!!!!)

Morning all.....well almost

Happy Anniversary Lissie x

E surprised me with a bouquet of roses for our anniversay, very romantic. Nothing exciting happening for the rest of the day, need to get the house organised ready for the invasion tomorrow. Eldest daughter is driving down from Oxford with Jordan, David, Hannah and baby Charlotte this evening. They won't arrive until very late so we won't actually get to see them until tomorrow, they're staying at the Travelodge at the harbour. It used to be a Ramada and is really nice, my stepmother stayed there a couple of years ago. The lights go on at the harbour tonight so an added bonus.

Z,M and the boys will be here too and we're booked in for lunch at our local pub, E will be 65 tomorrow so a double celebration.

We've been very busy, the tree's up (it looks splendid, E's thrilled) and the house lights will go on tonight, all very festive. The children will love it.

Have a good day :D
