It's here :(

It snowed on and off all morning, when it wasn't snowing the sun was shining. It'd pretty much cleared off the estate roads by 2pm. I went upstairs at 4 to wrap some presents and when I came back downstairs an hour later it was white over again and coming down thick and fast.
Tom's worrying me because he insisted on driving to work in it as the roads were clear then, and he's never driven in these conditions before; it's bad enough with the estate roads not being treated but then he's got to contend with people double parking and parking on bends and corners etc. John's going out for a meal with his cycling friends so he's going to be out on the roads too

This is what concerns me re Jen, as she has never driven in these conditions before and she's on the A1 a lot to and from work. She's very blasé about it all, probably for the best, but I am constantly worrying about her to-ing and fro-ing....

We're supposed to be getting it on Sunday. None so far.

Tom's exactly the same :o

John just noticed one of our neighbours had got stuck trying to get up the close (we're on a long steady slope upwards) so he's been out trying to help him but the car won't budge. Great big fancy brand new BMW.

We had the odd 5-minute sleet/snow showers down here today, enough to cover the ground, but it quickly melted in the ensuing sunshine. Very stiff, cold breeze, though.

According to the weather forecast, the Midlands is going to cop a lot of snow on Sunday, Jo .....
