Well, we were supposed to have that lump of pork rib that Jose Felipe brought over on Sunday.

But Steve and Jackie rang at 2, to say they'll be in the bar in half an hour with all the goodies I'd asked them to get from Iceland. Fresh brussels and parsnips, as I'm helping Sonia out with a Christmas lunch tomorrow.

So we went down to meet them and now we're having left over curry, burgers and chips

I had beef medallions with homemade peppercorn sauce and three veg.

The medallions were two packs of two for £7 in Morrisons but when I opened them they were layered and massive. Once I had trimmed them to portion size I ended up with four 'steaks' and enough strips for a good sized stir-fry.

Just a quick dinner as we have to take some presents so we had jacket potatoes with cheese.

When we get back I'm making chicken, peas and rice with Chinese spices in the Instant Pot.

Shared a fry-up this morning with Master O, down here on a couple of days leave, before he drove back to the Big City.

So tonight's tea was just a tin of vegetable soup and a cheese bun. Mind you, may raid the fridge later ....

Pudding was lovely, brandy snap baskets filled with ice cream, with raspberries and blueberries, with cream :)

Skipper is now six months old and gorgeous.
He's a black lab, all shiny coat and legs, naughty and cheeky but not too much so, very affectionate.
He is going to be a lovely dog.
