Operation Switzerland!

Yep...it's that time of the year again! :D

Time for a new challenge and after much discussion, drooling and oohing and aahing over mountains Switzerland has been chosen. 8-)

We're flying there exactly a year to the day we flew to Norway. :)

Norway and the 3 hikes we did was a truly memorable, exhilarating and wonderful experience.

Definitely the toughest thing I've ever done in my life but want to do it all again. David & I got on so well despite being together 24 hours a day for 5 days that we can't wait to repeat it. 8-)

So....another 5 days in a country we've never been to is waiting to be explored.

Here is one of the hikes we'll be doing:

I will be there tomorrow Ally, we're spending Christmas there. One of the most incredible places I've been. When I was 12 we took the funnicular and then walked to Muren, me complaining all the time. When Mrs S and I returned many years later I insisted on taking the cable car from the valley floor. Mrs S was not chuffed with me. But, then again, it was Easter and snowing up there.

All I can say is Enjoy. Because I would love to be walking there in the summer; but we're not going to make it this year or any year soon.
