I love broad beans too Saundra!

We had our dinner at about 2. Turkey, pigs in blankets, stuffing, sprouts, carrots, new potatoes, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, gravy and cranberry and bread sauces. I had Christmas pudding while the others had some cheesecake which I made yesterday.

We had ours about 7.
Single rib of beef, cooked like a giant steak, left on the table to carve more, frites, rocket, horseradish creme fraiche, beef jus.
Gu chocolate and vanilla cheesecake.
Followed later by a Bendicks bittermint :)
It was b****y lovely :)

We (just the two of us) had a traditional Christmas turkey dinner at mid-day, prepared by my dear wife,
who certainly knows the way to a man's heart. It was superb.

Ours was lovely, even if I do say so myself  Turkey, gammon, roasties in duck fat, mash, mashed swede, pigs in blankets, sprouts, baby carrots, roast parsnips, peas, broccoli in cheese sauce, bread sauce, cranberry sauc and stuffing! After that D's fresh fruit salad was very welcome   No room for mincey spies

We'd already had some of D's delicious homemade sausage rolls as an appetiser, about an hour earlier

Oh these all sound gorgeous!

We had turkey, mash, mashed swede, roasties, roasted carrots and parsnips, fried sprouts, pigs in blankets (not for Jen, she's veggie, she had a veggie 'thing' from Aldi instead of turkey) and lots of gravy :)

She had made a key lime pie for dessert as there's only Tom and I who like Christmas pud, but it went horribly wrong so she didn't bring it. Instead she made a bread and butter pudding - it was amazing! We had it much later on rather than straight after lunch
