Good morning.

Sunshine and clouds forecast. :D

After yesterday's uber hard hike I am having a day at home today. Bliss.

My resident chef is making meatballs for dinner and there's DOI and Vera to watch. Double bliss.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning :)
Just the clouds forecast here I think!
Enjoy your lazy day Ally.

A few jobs here. We're going to pull the cooker out so we can clean all around in readiness for the new one.
Towel washing and odds and ends.
Bacon butty brunch as a reward :)
Hope you all have a good day
x

Morning Ally, Di and everyone

Gorgeous morning 8-) 8-)

I'm off to Ourique soon, to see if I can find a chemist open, then we'll have breakfast and then head outside for the day. Re-potting plants and uncovering the veggies are on the agenda.

When is the new cooker arriving Di?

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all

Rather grey and a bit damp this morning, not sure what the rest of the day is meant to be like.

Ally, I think a lazy day at home is just the right thing after yesterday; enjoy
Jan, I cannot wait to get the veg etc going; just still far too cold out here though; we've got another two months to wait at least. Good luck with the chemist search - hope all is OK?
Di, bacon butty - yum!!!!!

Not sure what today will bring. The plan is for Nadine, Amelia (my niece) and I to head to Reading to their shopping centre. But all depends on Thomas (my nephew); he's been on a school trip to Italy for the past week and is due back today. The bus is meant to get back at 09h30 so if all is on time then we'll go shopping but if they're delayed then we're not and I'll just pop over anyway to hear all about it. He's had an absolute blast and hats off to the teachers and volunteers who made all this happen. 30 or so kids all with varying levels of special learning needs from four (I think) different schools. Looking at the photo's they've all just had the best time ever and reading the daily updates the kids have grown in confidence so much - it's lovely.

Have a lovely day all, enjoy whatever it is you're up to

Lucky Thomas Ria! I used to love Italy, we went there seven times on holiday.

Yes Ally, get your feet up today! Jan, if you tried gardening over here atm you'd be up to your knees in mud. Enjoy the new cooker Di! MrsC says it took her a while to get used to our new oven; they all cook a bit differently.

Lazy day today, chicken for dinner and we may pop up to see out daughter later.

Have a good day everyone.

Sausage butties for breakfast :Hi: :Hi:

Sounds as if they had a great time Ria and hats off to those teachers :D :D

Morning all, it's grey and damp here, but forecast to be very mild, up to 12 degrees or more. No plan whatsoever for the day, although I might feel the need to do some ironing. I will get out for a walk at some stage. Dancing with the Stars Ireland and Call the Midwife tonight, and I am trying to decide whether or not to watch the Trump/Piers Morgan interview - Trump is repellant and Morgan beyond annoying, so we will see

Hi all

Lazy day here, staying in pj’s! Miserable day too!

George is doing fab and by day 9 he had regained his birth weight which made me very happy as im exclusively breastfeeding! We got his birth registered on Friday so he is George Chima with my surname :). Chima is middle name as that is daddy’s name :)

Amy is doing great and loves her brother :)

My pain is getting better, continuing to take paracetamol but off the strong stuff!

Hope you are all well

Xx
