Energy Supplier

Postby cruiser2 » 08 Mar 2018, 11:13

Just had a letter from my energy supplier to say they want to reduce my monthly direct debit to less than half I am now paying.
As my consumption will have gone up due to the old weather we have had I have phoned them and told them I do not want it reduced.
Had to wait five minutes waiting to speak to someone having gone through a long menu. I still had to answer security questions before they would discuss the change.
Three page letter to tell e about the change. Will get another one saying they have re-instated the correct amount for the direct debit.
No wonder they get complaints.

I hate it when they do that - just wish they'd work out the previous annual consumption's (esp if like me you've been with them for a good few years), add them up and work out the average and then base the direct debit on that and keep it the same throughout the year

glad you got it sorted Cruiser
