A walk/run for me then back to get ready to walk into town to meet a friend for coffee and a pitufo.

Work 4 - 9 which shall include making Easter baskets complete with chocolate mini eggs (thanks Dealz! )

Home to chicken stir fry a la hubby.

Hospital for us today - no, we don't escape going to Southampton altogether. Appt is at 12, no telling when we'll see anyone, if it's early enough will stop for lunch on the way home.

Did what I think may be my last baby sign language talk today. It’s the last one for this term and there’s problems with “paying” me, which is a very long story but basically they want to change from Koha to me invoicing them. (Look up Koha if you can be bothered it’s a Maori word) simple change has quite large implications.
Kind of fitting that it was at my old play centre, which I hardly get to. Anyhoo....

I’m still full of a cold and tiring quite easily at the moment. I’m considering the flu jab for the first time ever. If a small cold has knocked me out like this, I’m not sure I’d survive a flu.

Think the kids may have had the last swim of the season today. Weather is supposed to turn cold by Thursday.

That’s enough news for the morning. Can’t interrupt the cornflake munching too much.

Good morning all, it's sunny and cold here.

It was perfect for a walk earlier, nice and frosty and bright. There's still some snow lying around though, poor Billy went up to his neck in it on the golf course when he didn't realise that there was a drift filling a ditch. I got back and saw Joe off to college and John off to work and then walked over to the post office for a stamp. Two loads of washing are currently whizzing around on the line and hopefully I can plant out the Primulas I bought last week!

The weather in New York is looking pretty much like here so I crocheted myself a hat, complete with pom pom,

The blood test went okay yesterday, they hadn't remembered to send through a form so we had to pop into the surgical admission lounge to pick one up. It was really quiet, apparently some ops were cancelled yesterday, it's back to day by day, not sure that bodes well for me this week. Because it was so quiet they offered to do the BT there, you won't be surprised to hear I politely declined and went down to the path lab!!

We're off out shopping today, bringing it forward by two days so I can do the laundry and get everything ready tomorrow just in case I'm in hospital on Thursday. Have to admit I'm not feeling too confident
